Bombay Toastie Sandwich Recipe

                                                 

The Bombay Toastie Masala Sandwich is a delicious twist to your regular Aloo/Potato Sandwich. This Veg Grilled Toast Sandwich by Shagun is easy to make. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup in this recipe boosts the flavour of your child’s tiffin. 

INGREDIENTS

  1. Brown bread: 4 slices
  2. Boiled and mashed potatoes: 1 cup
  3. Kissan Sweet and Spicy Sauce: 2 tablespoons
  4. Jeera: 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Mustard seeds: 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Boiled green peas: 1 tablespoon
  7. Garam masala: 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Chopped green chillies: 1 teaspoon
  9. Oil: 1 tablespoon
  10. Turmeric: 1/4 teaspoon
  11. Salt to taste
  12. A pinch of pepper
  13. Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
  14. Green chutney: 1 tablespoon
  15. Butter: 1 teaspoon

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Once mustard seeds crackle, add green chilies, turmeric powder, mashed potatoes and green peas.
  2. Stir. Add in Kissan Sweet and Spicy Sauce and some salt. Stir
  3. Take it off the flame
  4. On bread slice, apply butter and green chutney. Now apply this potato mixture
  5. Pan grill this sandwich and serve.
