Bombay Toastie Sandwich Recipe
The Bombay Toastie Masala Sandwich is a delicious twist to your regular Aloo/Potato Sandwich. This Veg Grilled Toast Sandwich by Shagun is easy to make. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup in this recipe boosts the flavour of your child’s tiffin.
INGREDIENTS
- Brown bread: 4 slices
- Boiled and mashed potatoes: 1 cup
- Kissan Sweet and Spicy Sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Jeera: 1/2 teaspoon
- Mustard seeds: 1/2 teaspoon
- Boiled green peas: 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala: 1/2 teaspoon
- Chopped green chillies: 1 teaspoon
- Oil: 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric: 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- A pinch of pepper
- Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
- Green chutney: 1 tablespoon
- Butter: 1 teaspoon
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Once mustard seeds crackle, add green chilies, turmeric powder, mashed potatoes and green peas.
- Stir. Add in Kissan Sweet and Spicy Sauce and some salt. Stir
- Take it off the flame
- On bread slice, apply butter and green chutney. Now apply this potato mixture
- Pan grill this sandwich and serve.
