Tomato Baby Corn Rice Recipe
Tomato and baby corn rice are easy to make the recipe with the added delightful flavour of kissan tomato ketchup. Combo rice with tomato and baby corn goes best for your child. Rice Baby Corn Recipe for Tiffin is served as a one-dish dinner along with raita.
INGREDIENTS
- Baby corn: 3/4 cup, chopped.
- Capsicum: 1/2 cup, chopped.
- Basmati rice (long grain): 2 cups, cooked / leftover rice.
- Oil: 1 tbsp.
- Onions: 1/2 cup, chopped.
- Garlic: 1 tsp, chopped.
- Kissan Tomato Sauce: 3.5 tbsp.
- Sugar: pinch.
- Salt to taste.
- Pepper powder to taste.
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan.
- Add the onion and garlic and sauté on a medium flame for a minute.
- Add the baby corn and capsicum and sauté on a medium flame for another 3-4 minutes.
- Add the tomato ketchup, chilli powder and sugar. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Add the rice and the salt and pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes. Serve hot.
