Besan Tomato Omelette Recipe

                                                 

Besan tomato omelette or tasty veg omelette which is inspired by eggless omelette. Kissan Tomato Ketchup it takes an altogether different fervour and flavour and renders a perfect taste that the kids so love and ensuring the tiffin comes back empty.

 INGREDIENTS

  1. Besan: 1/2 cup
  2. Baking Soda: 1/4 Teaspoon
  3. Lemon juice: 1/4 teaspoon
  4. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup/Tomato Puree: 1 tablespoon
  5. Pepper pinch
  6. Small chopped tomato: 1
  7. Small onion sliced into thin roundels: 1
  8. Coriander chopped: 2 tablespoons
  9. Oil to cook: 2 teaspoons

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  1. Mix all the ingredients except onion and oil, in a bowl. Add 3-4 tbsp of water to make a thick batter.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Arrange the onion slices at the bottom of the pan, in a single layer.
  3. Allow this to cook for 30 seconds on a medium flame.
  4. Pour prepared batter over the arranged onion slices. Cover and allow to cook for 6-7 mins on a low flame.
  5. Carefully flip over and cook the other side for 2 minutes with the pan open.
  6. Cut into wedges and pack.
  7. Ketchup enhances the tomato flavor in the besan omelette.
