Sweet and Sour Chickpeas Recipe

                                                 

Sweet and sour chickpeas are a delicious and tasty recipe with the added flavour of kissan tomato ketchup which is perfect for kids tiffin box. It is healthier and delightful recipe. 

INGREDIENTS

  1. Boiled Chickpeas: 1/2 cups
  2. Sweet and spicy tomato ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  3. Soya sauce: 2 teaspoons
  4. Vinegar: 1 teaspoons
  5. Ginger powder: 1 teaspoons
  6. Garlic pods: 4-5 chopped
  7. Oil: 2 teaspoons
  8. Capsicum: 1 sliced
  9. Cauliflower/broccoli florets: 1/2 cup
  10. Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoons
  11. Salt to taste
  12. METHOD OF PREPARATION

    1. Heat oil over medium high heat in a large fry pan. Add garlic and cook for 2 minute
    2. Add the peppers and mix in. Cover and cook for 2 mins
    3. Add the broccoli and mix in. Cover and cook for another 2 mins
    4. Add the chickpeas, sugar, ketchup, ginger powder, vinegar and black pepper. Add a little water and bring to boil.
    5. Add salt, check for taste and adjust the sweetness/spiciness according to your liking
    6. Turn off the heat and garnish with some sesame seeds and serve with rice
