Sweet and Sour Chickpeas Recipe
Sweet and sour chickpeas are a delicious and tasty recipe with the added flavour of kissan tomato ketchup which is perfect for kids tiffin box. It is healthier and delightful recipe.
INGREDIENTS
- Boiled Chickpeas: 1/2 cups
- Sweet and spicy tomato ketchup: 2 tablespoons
- Soya sauce: 2 teaspoons
- Vinegar: 1 teaspoons
- Ginger powder: 1 teaspoons
- Garlic pods: 4-5 chopped
- Oil: 2 teaspoons
- Capsicum: 1 sliced
- Cauliflower/broccoli florets: 1/2 cup
- Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoons
- Salt to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Heat oil over medium high heat in a large fry pan. Add garlic and cook for 2 minute
- Add the peppers and mix in. Cover and cook for 2 mins
- Add the broccoli and mix in. Cover and cook for another 2 mins
- Add the chickpeas, sugar, ketchup, ginger powder, vinegar and black pepper. Add a little water and bring to boil.
- Add salt, check for taste and adjust the sweetness/spiciness according to your liking
- Turn off the heat and garnish with some sesame seeds and serve with rice
