Corn Porridge Recipe

                                               

Corn Porridge is perfect for a breakfast meal. Porridge is basically gain boiled in milk or water. Corn is popular gain used. It is an easy and quick recipe for your little rockstar. 

INGREDIENTS

  1. Corn: Boiled 1 cup, (mashed/coarsely ground)
  2. Kissan Tomato Sauce: 1.5 tbsp.
  3. Mustard seeds: 1 tsp.
  4. Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp.
  5. Coconut: 2 tbsp, grated.
  6. Green chilli: 1 tsp, chopped
  7. Red chilli powder: 1 Tsp
  8. Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
  9. Coriander leaves: 2 Tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil: 1 Tsp
  12. METHOD OF PREPARATION

    1. Heat oil.
    2. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chilli & curry leaves and sauté.
    3. Add tomato sauce, red chilli powder & turmeric powder & mix well.
    4. Add corn & cook for 2 minutes - mix well.
    5. Add water & cook for 2 more minutes.
    6. Add fresh coconut & lemon juice.
    7. Adjust seasoning & serve hot.
