Corn Porridge Recipe
Corn Porridge is perfect for a breakfast meal. Porridge is basically gain boiled in milk or water. Corn is popular gain used. It is an easy and quick recipe for your little rockstar.
INGREDIENTS
- Corn: Boiled 1 cup, (mashed/coarsely ground)
- Kissan Tomato Sauce: 1.5 tbsp.
- Mustard seeds: 1 tsp.
- Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp.
- Coconut: 2 tbsp, grated.
- Green chilli: 1 tsp, chopped
- Red chilli powder: 1 Tsp
- Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
- Coriander leaves: 2 Tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil: 1 Tsp
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Heat oil.
- Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chilli & curry leaves and sauté.
- Add tomato sauce, red chilli powder & turmeric powder & mix well.
- Add corn & cook for 2 minutes - mix well.
- Add water & cook for 2 more minutes.
- Add fresh coconut & lemon juice.
- Adjust seasoning & serve hot.
